“I gained admission to UNILAG last year, but I moved on because of ASUU strike”- Rema reveals his plans for school

In a recent interview that appeared online, Afrobeats singer Rema discussed his ambitions for attending school.

Rema disclosed his entrance date as 2022 in an interview with the US and UK-based Internet radio station Countdown. But a strike had come before, and he had to consider his options.

The musician stated that he had no plans to attend college because, following the one-month strike, he opted to forgo his studies in order to focus on his music career.

He was asked about his mother’s response by the interviewer. Rema disclosed that his mother has accepted his decision to devote all of his attention to music.
