Otile Brown, an award-winning Kenyan musician and composer, was overcome with emotion after being surprised by one of his fans upon his return from a tour in the United States.
The pencil artist arrived at JKIA to surprise the singer with a portrait of his late grandmother, and it was an emotional moment.
After his parents died while he was young, the Dusuma hitmaker was reared by his grandmother.
While in the United States in September, Jacob Obunga, also known as Otile Brown, made headlines after purchasing a Ksh.902,625.00 pendant to honor his late grandma.
” My late grandma Elizabeth surrounded by Diamonds,” he wrote
He then tagged Ice Box, one of the largest jewelers specialized in diamonds in the United States of America.
“Thank you so much, @icebox… Rest in peace, I adore you.” Otile Brown shared a video on his Instagram Stories.
The pendant costs USD 7,500 on the Ice Box official store, which is approximately Ksh.902,625.00 in Kenyan shillings.
