My dad’s modest lifestyle prevented me from knowing he’s a billionaire – Davido

Due to his father’s humility, renowned Nigerian Afrobeats musician David Adeleke aka  claims he was unaware of his father’s fortune.

The celebrated artist revealed that he didn’t realize his father was a billionaire or what he did for a career when he was a child.

Speaking in an interview, Davido also disclosed that he first realized his family was wealthy when he was 13 years old.

The FEM singer claims that because his father led a very ordinary and modest existence, it was challenging for him to understand their true value in society.

He explained that the multi-billionaire businessman had just one driver and drove a brand-new silver Honda Accord.

Davido noted that he had no idea about their financial situation because his mother only had a Toyota or Honda truck.

He claimed that up until they moved out of their house and into a new one, his parents continued to lead a simple life.

He started asking questions about his father’s job when he first noticed the new structure that served as their new house and discovered that he was a businessman.

The DMW boss claims that his father has maintained his modesty and humility with his spending and business practices even today.

In related news, Nini Singh, a housemate on Big Brother Naija season 6, stated that she would choose happiness as a rich person over poverty.

Fans reacted when the reality star said this on her Instagram page because she made it clear that she would always make that decision regardless of the situation.

When asked whether she would rather have money and be happy or be happy and live in poverty, Nini said.

The brand spokesperson posted a video of herself declaring that she “would chose being poor over traveling around the world in her private jets, offending with Fendi, crying inside her opulent house, or expensive whip so that she can support her newborn girl for life.”

The Nigerian-Indian claims that every young lady dreams of living the lifestyle of “weeping in a Lambo.”
