Pastor returns N30 lady left as an offering in an Edo church: “Una dey look down on us.”

A Nigerian pastor was caught on tape yelling at a lady about the amount she gave as an offering in church.

The visibly irritated clergyman confronted her inside a car and questioned her for donating 30 Naira as an offering.

The incident occurred in Benin City, Edo state.

She is a member of his church, and he was upset about the money she dropped in the offering bowl during service.

In a viral video, a woman asked him if it was appropriate for a pastor to decline an offering. In his response, he said that if she had thought the amount was appropriate, she would have used the money to purchase the airpods she uses.

She continued by saying that she would donate whatever she had, and that it was absurd for a man of God to turn down any amount of money.

But he persisted in disputing with her, asserting that since God in the Bible had rejected Esau’s offering, he was justified in doing the same.

Then he explained that because clergymen are often looked down upon, this is why she would believe it was acceptable to act in such a way.
