As Senator Ademola Adeleke will soon be sworn in as the governor of the state, preparations for the inauguration and swearing-in ceremony of the Osun State governor-elect have reached their peak.
As the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, stakeholders and supporters in the state as well as royal fathers arrive for the ceremony, celebrations have started at the Osogbo City Stadium, the location of the swearing-in.

As the sixth executive governor of the state, Adeleke of the PDP will take over for outgoing Governor Gboyega Oyetola of the ruling All Progressives Congress.
Recall The Osun gubernatorial election was won by Adeleke on July 16, 2022, over the leading rival, Oyetola.
Atiku Abubakar, the PDP’s presidential candidate for the general election of 2023, is one of the dignitaries anticipated at the ceremony.
