Ademola Adeleke, the incoming governor of the state, has vowed to fire the appointed civil servants on Monday in response to Osun State Governor Adegboyega Oyetola’s appointment of 30 new permanent secretaries on Thursday. On Thursday, Governor Oyetola approved and installed 30 senior civil servants as permanent secretaries. On Sunday, November 27, Adeleke is scheduled to take office as the State Governor. In a swift response to the appointment, Adeleke threatened that any of the appointed civil servants who conceded to the appointment will be fired by Monday in a statement by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed.
