I started singing at 13 – Bella Shmurda speaks on his growth
Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed, popularly known as Bella Shmurda, an Afrobeats singer, has stated that he started performing when he was just 13 years old.
The 26-year-old claimed that when he was a teenager just getting started in music, 14 years ago, he released his first song.
In a recent interview regarding his journey to popularity with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Bella Shmurda made this clear.
The Cash App hitmaker remembered how Olamide Adedeji, the founder of YBNL, helped advance his career by appearing on the remix of his hit song “Vision 2020.”
He said in part: “When Olamide called me for a remix I couldn’t sleep. people wey borrow me cloth that day were up to 15, I had to go and borrow shoe.”
