Emerging Nigerian artist, 1da Banton, has acknowledged that it has been challenging to record a song with Omah Lay.
He claimed that when he emailed Omah Lay about working together, the Soso singer gave him an email address to which he could send his demo.
The Afropop musician has allegedly ignored 1da ever since he provided the audio file and expected a rapid answer.
The performer, whose true name is Godson Ominibie Epelle, revealed this during an interview with Cool FM Lagos on-air personality Dotun.
He claimed that even though they weren’t close friends, they knew one other from their time spent living in Rivers state back in Port Harcourt.
He claimed he followed up through text message requesting the musical collaboration on various times, but the ‘Understand’ crooner was not responding, so he gave up.
