The presidential candidate for 2023 had slammed his supporters for comparing Funke Akindele to him.
At one of his Lagos rallies, his supporters praised Funke Akindele and compared her to him.
Bola Tinubu, irritated by the comparison, warns them not to mention the actress’s name in his presence.
To do so is an insult to him.
Funke had previously confirmed reports about her political career with the Lagos State People Democratic Party PDP.
The mother of two posted a video on her verified social media page confirming her selection as a running mate to
Funke, who is known to avoid media scrutiny, formally announced her decision to accept Jandor’s appointment as the state’s deputy governor.
She also stated that she was willing to pay the cost of embracing politics.
This will halt her career in the Nollywood industry for the time being.
