Rexxie, a Marlian Music musician from Nigeria, has described how he first met Azeez Fashola, a.k.a. Naira Marley.
He claimed that because he had no prior knowledge of the rapper and had only just learned that he was from the United Kingdom, he had been nervous when he went to see him.
The “Opor” singer revealed that he and Kesh intended to include Naira Marley in a song during a conversation with journalist Adesope Olajide.
When they went to see the Marlian President, according to Rexxie, he brought his production equipment with him, and they all produced several songs in one day.
He told how he was formally introduced to the Marlian Music family by Naira calling him back.
Rexxie claimed that the ‘Tesumole’ crooner had believed in him at the time, and that this had aided in his development into the well-known performer he is today.
