Teniola Apata, also known as Teni, is a Nigerian singer who has decided against purchasing a watch because of the price.
She wanted to purchase a gold crested timepiece when she visited a premium jewelry store in the United States, but was told that it cost $29,500.
The “Billionaire” singer questioned whether he meant $2,900 but he insisted it was $29,000, putting emphasis on the number.
The singer reacted shock and said that she may use the funds to purchase land in Lekki, Lagos state.
Teni instantly instructed the salesperson in the jewelry store to return the wristwatch because she was no longer interested in purchasing it.
The Grammy-winning singer gave him a warm hug anyhow to show that she wasn’t mad with him for simply going about his business.
