Kizz Daniel, a popular Nigerian Afropop artist, has acknowledged that the song Mama was inspired by his ex-girlfriend.
He stated that the hit song was inspired by a text message he wrote to his ex-girlfriend in which he begged her to forgive him for what he had done to her.
In an interview with Time, the artist explained that he had made a mistake and had composed the song to beg her forgiveness.
He admits that it did not work because they never got back together, but he is content with how things turned out.
Kizz Daniel said that his ex-girlfriend is now married and has children.
