A video that went viral on social media showed a dog eating something odd from a bowl that had been left by the roadside.

The animal was munching on what was thought to be a sacrifice left near someone’s house by a resident.

A motorist who appeared to be driving home late at night noticed the dog happily eating food from a calabash bowl.
