The Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC) has notified measures to compensate subscribers affected by the recent system glitch at the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).
The refund procedure is the result of the latter power problem, which affected many consumers.
The PURC issued a statement after “substantial consultation with the management of the ECG.”
According to a PURC statement, impacted consumers can initiate the compensation procedure by visiting ECG district offices or PURC regional offices between Monday, October 24, and Friday, October 28, 2022.
Customers can also visit the PURC and ECG websites to “complete and submit paperwork for consideration for reimbursement.”
