Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, a Nigerian Afrobeats singer, has stated that American R&B singer Beyonce is a star.
He made the aggressive statement in response to a question concerning Beyonce’s music career and whether she is overrated.
Burna Boy said on The Breakfast Club with Charlamagne Tha God and Angela Yee that he doesn’t know if she is the world’s biggest star, but he knows she is a star in her own right.
Charlamagne revealed that someone in his studio believes Beyonce is overrated and that Drake is far superior to her in terms of music.
He asked the Odogwu crooner whether he agreed, but Burna answered by asking the individual if he doesn’t think Drake is overhyped as well.
Burna Boy appeared on Beyonce’s Ja Ara E from her Lion King curated album in 2019.
