Teni Announces New Album After Leaving Dr. Dolor Entertainment Record Label

Teni the Entertainer, a Nigerian singer superstar, has left Dr Dolor Entertainment, the record label that helped launch her career.

In a social media post, the dazzling diva stated that her new body of work would be her best album yet.

Teni, a wonderful and dynamic singer, was hired by Dr Dolor Entertainment for a five-year contract. The 28-year-old released numerous popular songs while at the label, including ‘Fargin,’ ‘Askamaya,’ ‘Case,’ and ‘Uyo Meyo,’ among others.

She released ‘Billionaire E.P.’ in October 2019, and ‘Quarantine Playlist,’ a collaborative effort with legendary disc jockey DJ Neptune,’ in April 2020. Teni’s critically acclaimed debut album, ‘Wondaland,’ was released in 2021.

Teni announced her upcoming album by stating that she is now an independent artist who is not signed to any record label and that her fans should brace themselves for the new project. “I’m now self-sufficient. “I’m working on the best album of my life,” the artist announced on Twitter.

The lively musician has received numerous prizes and honours both in Nigeria and abroad. She received ‘Rookie of the Year,’ ‘Best Pop Single,’ ‘Best Recording of the Year,’ ‘Viewer’s Choice,’ and ‘Best Vocal Performance (Female)’ at the Headies Awards.

She was also nominated for ‘Best New International Act’ at the BET Awards and ‘Best African Act’ at the MTV Europe Music Awards.

Teni’s latest single, ‘Maitama (Going),’ is currently sweeping the country and gradually rising to the top of several charts.
