The absence of Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor’s wife from church activities fuels further divorce speculation.
Since news of former CAN president, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor and his wife, Helen, broke, the couple has become the center of attention.
Mrs Helen Oritsejafor, affectionately known as Mama Helen by churchgoers, has been noticeably absent from many church activities.
Helen had been avoiding many church events prior to the devastating news, particularly the week-long celebration of her husband’s 50th anniversary as a clergyman in November 2022.
Several clergymen, including Pastor Adegboye and his wife, were present at the elaborate event.
Mrs. Oritsejafor, who usually sat next to her husband on the pulpit, was not present at the event and has not been attending church programs.
Mrs. Oritsejafor was holding her daily live prayer sessions on Facebook, which she calls “Command The Day,” during his birthday celebrations.
Her absence was also noted on the flyer advertising the November church program.
Despite the signs of a marital crisis, Opeyemi Falegan, an Ekiti state politician, has debunked rumors.
Opeyemi Falegan, Mrs. Oritsejafor’s blood brother, spoke out and put an end to the rumors of a divorce.
He stated that tying the family’s name to infidelity is not only repulsive, but also abhorrent and completely unacceptable.
