Valentine’s Day: Lady launches search for bricklayer’s son who bought her snacks in JSS2

A Nigerian woman going by the name of Peace Ighodaro has used Twitter to start a hunt for a classmate from secondary school who developed a crush on her.

When they were in Junior Secondary 2, she claimed the boy known as Funmilayo bought her a sausage roll and a carbonated soft drink (JSS2).

The youngster, according to Peace, was the son of a bricklayer who went over and beyond to show his affection for her by purchasing gala and Mountain Dew.

However, after his father passed away as a result of a horrible workplace accident, he abruptly quit attending school.

She related the tale in response to a comment made by a woman who claimed that her last Valentine’s Day celebration took place while she was in high school.

Peace invited Funmilayo to get in touch if he ever came across her Twitter post and offered him an open invitation.

She wrote; “Fumilayo bought me Gala and Mountain Dew in Jss 2, he probably had to save to get it 🥹. The boy had a huge crush on me. His father was a bricklayer and died when he fell from a building. Fumilayo never came back to school. Fumilayo please dm me whenever you see this.”
