“You’ll play a Christian CD I produce today in a club.” – Wizkid’s
Wizkid Balogun, Grammy award winning Afrobeat singer, discusses why he sticks to his established music genre and not gospel if he ever considers it as a new interest.
This was revealed by the Grammy-winning artist during an interview on an international radio station on Thursday night.
During the interview, the singer responded to a few questions, including one in which he was asked to choose between Tems and Burna Boy.
At the end of his interview, the 32-year-old stated that each album he creates will be “vibes on vibes.”
He went on to say that if he does make a “Christian album today,” he will “lay it in the club.”
Due to the death of Davido’s son, Ifeanyi, the singer postponed the release of his album, “More Love; Less Ego,” which is set to be released today.
