Throwback Video: “This guy is annoying me, go home,” Burna Boy yells as he refunds a live show attendee.

Burnaboy, a Nigerian superstar singer, bounced out a concertgoer and immediately refunded money spent on his ticket, which was captured in a viral video and sparked reactions on social media.

The Grammy winner was performing on stage when he noticed an attendee among the cheering crowd who appeared uninterested and didn’t appear to be enjoying his performance as much as the others.

Burnaboy paused his performance, reached into his pocket for cash, handed it to the fan, and asked him to leave the venue or, better yet, go to the back.

The front row, he says, is for his die-hard fans who understand his craft and are ecstatic about his performance, not for anyone with negative energy.

“Go home, escort this guy out of this place. The guy is annoying me. You can go to the back though; the front is for my normal diehard Burna Boy fan; every one that understands that what I do here. If you want to do a fashion show or stand and look at me, go to the f**king church,” he said, as he called on the bouncers to escort the fan out of the venue.

Although the incident occurred during Burna’s “African Giant” tour stop in Atlanta in 2019, the video recently resurfaced and elicited new reactions from social media users.
