21-year-old woman with $9.4 million scholarship completes two degrees at US university, breaking record
After receiving her second degree from the Xavier University of Louisiana in the United States, a remarkable 21-year-old woman called Normandie Cormier set a remarkable record.
After being accepted into 139 American universities in the year 2019, Normandie Cormier was awarded a remarkable $9.4 million scholarship. She earned acceptance and scholarships after graduating with honors from the Early College Academy in Lafayette, Louisiana.
She chose to pursue her Bachelor’s degree at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) – Xavier University of Louisiana after receiving a number of acceptances. Normandie obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience with a focus on Biology and Chemistry three years after being admitted.
Normandie posts on LinkedIn about how delighted she is to have earned her second degree after breaking numerous records in the classroom.
I will be graduating from THEE illustrious Xavier University of Louisiana with my second college degree in Neuroscience. I am and will continue to be my ancestor’s wildest dreams,” she said.
Following her impressive $9.4 million scholarship win, Normandie continued by listing the numerous honors and distinctions she has received. She mentioned that Presidents Obama, Trump, and Biden have each selected her as a four-time White House HBCU scholar.
