Uche Ogbodo, a Nollywood actress, has apologized to popular Afrobeat singer Wizkid and his fans for her recent outburst.

Remember how she slammed Wizkid for saying he doesn’t listen to rap because it’s ‘dead, boring, and tired?’ He considered Afrobeats to be the new pop, ranking it above other music genres.

Many rappers and fans of the genre were outraged by Wizkid’s statement at the time, and they took to social media to express their displeasure.

Similarly, Uche Ogbodo, an actress, called Wizkid’s statement insensitive, noting that his colleague, Davido, would not make such a statement.

She also claimed that Wizkid’s singing talent is exaggerated, claiming that her babydaddy, Bobby Marris, is more talented than him. ICYMI,

Uche Ogbodo has apologized to the music superstar following the mixed reactions to her comment.

She claimed she overreacted and was humbled when many people, including Wizkid fans, went to listen to her baby daddy’s new song despite her insulting the singer.
