Ben White has returned home for “personal reasons” after departing England’s World Cup training base in Qatar.

It’s unlikely that the Arsenal defender will rejoin the team for the rest of the competition.
After a strong start to the season with the Gunners, the 25-year-old was included to Gareth Southgate’s 26-man World Cup roster.
White was absent from England’s first two Group B games due to illness, and he was also absent from Tuesday’s 3-0 victory over Wales.
“We ask that the player’s privacy is respected at this moment in time,” a statement from the Football Association read.
Arsenal’s official Twitter account posted: “We’re all with you, Ben.”
White, who has four England caps, was called up as a last-minute replacement for the European Championship last year but did not play and has not yet represented his nation at a significant international competition.
With their victory over Wales, England finished first in Group B and secured a spot in the World Cup’s round of 16. Senegal will face England on Sunday.
