Burna Boy lied, he isn’t a millionaire in dollars – Speed Darlington
Speed Darlington, a Nigerian internet phenomenon and rapper, has accused Afrobeats sensation Burna Boy of lying about his earnings this year.
Burna had previously stated during a feud with his colleague and close friend Wizkid that he had made almost $100 million in 2023 alone.
In response to his statement, Speed Darlington stated that the ‘Last Last’ singer is not a dollar millionaire as he says.
Burna Boy, according to the Bangdadadang singer, may have up to $100,000 in his bank account, but he does not have $100 million.
He made the remarks during a live session in which he asked followers whether the money was given to Burna Boy by Nigerians living overseas or white people.
Speedy went on to say that Nigerians are not utilizing their wits to think and are letting others to fool them.
He also stated that he has no idea what would compel him to pay $100 to attend a Burna Boy concert, hence he finds it incredible that he generates millions from his shows.
