Due to the injuries to Telles’ fellow full-backs Danilo and Alex Sandro, Brazil will have issues defending against South Korea on Monday.
Although the five-time world champions have an abundance of attacking potential, Arsenal forward Jesus played in each of Brazil’s three Group G matches.
Neymar, the star forward who injured his right ankle during Brazil’s opening 2-0 victory over Serbia, will play again in Qatar, according to coach Tite.
Neymar was spotted at the Lusail Stadium with his teammates, walking on the pitch without a limp, raising hopes that he would play against South Korea.
