Following the CBN’s intention to redesign the naira, a man was seen depositing sacks of money in a bank.
A Nigerian woman was taken aback after witnessing a man who appeared to be a customer putting large sums of money at a bank.
In an online video, two guys can be seen dumping money that was transported to the bank in Ghana-must-go bags.
They were pulling out bundles of N500 and N1,000 notes and depositing them on the teller’s counter.
The woman who filmed them stated that she went to the bank to withdraw N1,000 only to witness a man lugging luggage into the banking hall.
She related the customer’s decision to deposit such a large sum to the CBN’s planned redesign of some naira notes.
