He paid my fees till I graduated – Comedian Craze Clown reveals as he mourns Christian Atsu

On Saturday, Nigerian comedian Emmanuel Iwueke, nicknamed Craze Clown, claimed that late Ghanaian footballer Christian Atsu had been a longtime supporter of his.

When lamenting the loss of the 31-year-old midfielder who perished in the recent earthquake in Turkey and Syria, the skit creator made this statement.

A 7.8-magnitude earthquake that shook Atsu on February 6 killed more than 43,000 people in Turkey and Syria.

After Craze Clown’s father passed away in 2015, the former New Castle player allegedly contacted him and offered to pay for his tuition expenses till he graduated.

The medically trained content developer claimed he was unable to control his grief after losing a dear friend.

He recalled an earlier chat with Atsu in which he committed to paying for his tuition till he earned his degree and expressed confidence that the comic would find employment afterward.
