Naira falls 0.06% against the dollar, trading at 436.50

At the Investors and Exporters window on Monday, the Naira lost value against the dollar which traded for N436.50.

Comparing the figure to N436.25 to the dollar at the close of business on September 16, it shows a 0.6% depreciation.

On Monday, the open indicative rate reached a high of N434.38 to the dollar.

Before it settled at N436.50, the exchange rate for the day’s trade reached a high of N437.10 to the dollar.

In the course of the day’s trade, the Naira dropped as low as N434 to the dollar.

On Monday, transactions at the official Investors and Exporters window totaled 41.02 million dollars. (NAN)
