President Muhammadu Buhari will leave Nigeria today for a routine medical check-up in London, England.
On Monday, October 31, his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, announced that Buhari will return to the country in the second week of November.
”President Buhari leaves for London October 31, 2022, for routine medical checkup. He returns to the country 2nd week of November, 2022,” he said via his official Twitter account.
This is one of several medical trips taken by the President since taking office in 2015. Buhari visited the United Kingdom for medical reasons in March and July of this year.
The president’s upcoming medical trip comes just days after presiding over an emergency meeting with security chiefs at the State House in Abuja.
He will leave Abuja after attending the Senior Police Officers Conference and Retreat in Owerri, the capital of Imo State.
