Police summon OAP Do2tun over forced abo0rtion and domestic violence allegations

The police have requested to speak with on-air personality Kayode Ojuolape Oladotun, also known as Do2dtun, regarding a forced abortion.

Following allegations that Do2dtun’s wife, Omotayo, filed for divorce in December due to forced abortion, domestic abuse, and emotional abuse from the CoolFM personality, this has happened.

Omotayo, a well-known musician and D’banj’s sister, said that her spouse had coerced her into terminating her third pregnancy while she was married.

She sent a letter to the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Abuja’s deputy inspector general (DIG).

She also alleged in the petition that the OAP had used police officers improperly and committed unlawful entry, malicious damage, criminal trespass, and other offenses. The OAP vehemently denied the accusations in a public response.

Dotun will now be questioned by FCID on January 16.

In the invite, the FCID said Dotun will be made to provide responses “in respect of an ongoing investigation”. It read in part:

“THIS IS TO FORMALLY INVITE YOU IN RESPECT OF AN ONGOING INVESTIGATION AT THE SWAT/FCIID, ABUJA ON MONDAY 16TH, JANUARY 2023 AT 11.00 AM TO INTERVIEW [WITH] THE COMMISSIONER OF POLICE THROUGH DSP UBALI,” THE INVITE READS.

In addition, it was “just a fact-finding” interaction, according to an FCID source who was contacted about the nature of the inquiry.

In 2013, Omotayo wed Dotun, whose complete name is Kayode Ojuolape Oladotun. They have two young ones.
