Singer Yemi Alade congratulates Tems on her Golden Globe nomination.

Yemi Alade, an Afrobeats singer, has congratulated her younger colleague and current sensation, Tems, on her Golden Globe nomination.

Tems was nominated for a Golden Globe for her song in the film Blank Panther.

Tems was nominated for her work on Lift Me Up, a song from Marvel Studios’ film Wakanda Forever. Along with Rihanna, Ryan Coogler, and Ludwig Goransson, the Nigerian star was nominated for Best Original Song.

Yemi Alade responded by congratulating her on her new accomplishment.
