Tiwa Savage set to mark her first lead role as an actor and Executive producer, Stating that, “It is about to be an ICONIC moment”

Tiwa Savage, a well-known artist, is undoubtedly pushing boundaries and investigating new areas of the business.

With her newest effort, the Afrobeats artist hopes to leave a lasting impression on the film business.

The actress, singer, businesswoman, fashion icon, and entrepreneur in the beauty industry is about to add yet another title to her already impressive résumé.

The launch of her own film, Water and Garri the Film, would mark Nigeria’s Beyoncé, as many of her fans refer to her.

It’s about to be a legendary moment, according to Tiwa Savage, who shared the happy news on her Instagram page.

Her upcoming film, in which she would play the lead part for the first time as an actor, would be executive produced by her and directed by Meji Alabi, a recognized filmmaker.

In the featured movie, “Water and Garri,” Aisha, a successful fashion designer in the US, travels back to her native country to deal with her past guilt.

Aisha is played by Tiwa Savage in the lead role, and Mike Afolarin, Andrew Bunting, and Jemima Osunde make up the supporting characters.

Jointly produced by Unbound Studios and JM Films, “Water and Garri” has Comfort Emmanuel as the screenwriter and Meji Alabi as the director. The production companies’ first full-length effort is this eagerly awaited movie.

Tiwa Savage not only stars in the movie, but she also serves as an executive producer through her production business, Everything Savage, and composed and performed the soundtrack. Principal photography for the film, which was shot in Cape Coast, Ghana, has already over.
