Wikipedia updates Davido’s status to ‘married’ after paying Chioma’s bride price

The singer’s Wikipedia page has been updated in light of reports that he paid Chioma’s bride price in full. David “Davido” Adeleke is a famous musician.

He reportedly paid the bride price at Chioma’s family house in Owerre Nkworji Ezeala Odu, Nkwerre Local Government Area, Imo State, on Thursday, January 5.

After the death of their 3-year-old son, the couple is said to have had their formal wedding in November 2022.

Photos and videos from the occasion shows Chioma’s father performing the umunna rites and umuada rites.

Barely a day after the engagement rites were concluded, Wikipedia updated his page with the write-up ‘Davido married Chioma Rowland on November 6, 2022.’

On his personal page, Chioma Rowland was listed as Davido’s wife under the “spouse(s)” category.

In the meantime, comedian and actor Julius Agwu from Nigeria said last year that his union with Ibiere Maclayton had broken down.

In March of this year, the couple’s breakup became public, and it was said that despite her sacrifices while he was ill, he cheated on her.

During an Instagram live session, Julius revealed to Daddy Freeze how his wife’s 15-year marriage ended, saying she indicated she was exhausted.

The comic act said; “My wife said she isn’t marrying me again. She said she is tired of the marriage.

“That’s why I thank God I am alive. That’s why I said Satan works in mysterious ways but God works in miraculous ways”.

He also provided more information about his health, confirming that the allegations that he was dealing with medical issues were accurate.

Julius claimed it began in 2015 when, as he was getting ready to travel to London for a performance, he was unexpectedly taken to the hospital two days prior to the scheduled date.

The actor revealed that he underwent brain tumor surgery in 2015 and was subsequently taken to a London teaching hospital where he spent three months in a coma.

“There are no rumours about my health. It is true. I had a tumour surgery in 2015, a brain surgery. When I travelled to London to do a show, just two days before the show, I was rushed to the hospital. I was in Coma for 3 months. I thank God I am alive”, he said.
