David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, an award-winning Nigerian singer, has told a young girl that she reminds him of his daughter, Imade Adeleke.
During an interview with Jazzy’s World TV’s little host, a girl named Jazlyn asked OBO to give her a Nigerian name.
Davido replied by comparing her to his first daughter, Imade, and naming the young interviewer after her. He stated that the girl is advanced and that her parents would be proud of her.
He said; “You remind me a lot of my daughter, Imade, I feel like you are very advanced, your parents should be proud of you.
A lot of people your age are not doing what you doing. I’ll give you Imade, it is a nice name. Tell people you have a Nigerian name Davido gave you.”
Jazlyn thanked DMW for the name, which warmed the hearts of many social media users.
