David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, a Nigerian musician, has awarded a 4- or 5-year fully funded scholarship to a poor boy who cannot afford a university education despite receiving A’s in all of his high school subjects.
Morro Suleyman is the name of a poor boy from Ghana, Africa. He attended Sunyani Senior High School in Ghana and was the best student there, having acquitted himself in the West African Examination Council (WAEC) exam.
Suleyman was said to be having difficulties continuing his education after high school due to financial constraints. Nana Yaw announced his challenge on Twitter, asking for financial blessings because he is very intelligent.
The boy’s story piqued the interest of a Nigerian music star, who launched a search for him. He was eventually contacted and given a Sull Scholarship to study at Adeleke University in South-West Nigeria.
David Adeleke, who announced the scholarship, thanked everyone who assisted him in reaching the boy in need.
“We have contacted Suleyman who lives in Ghana and he has been given a full 4/5 year scholarship to Adeleke university .. accommodation and allowance included ! God bless y’all,” David wrote on Twitter.
