Exceptional Nigerian mom goes back to high school after giving birth to her last child, set to study Law in university

Precious Chioma Ugwoke, a remarkable Nigerian mother who decided to return to high school at a time when she was far too old to be a high school student, has been an inspiration to many.

After giving birth to her final child in 2018, Precious Chioma Ugwoke, a native of Enugu, Nigeria, West Africa, re-enrolled for high school. She enrolled in a junior class and advanced through the levels until she successfully completed the West African Examination Council’s mandatory high school examination (WAEC).

Precious’s husband, Ugwuoke Oloto Odobo, posted on Facebook to celebrate her accomplishment, saying it had motivated her to reapply to school to follow her goal of studying law and had given her hope for the future.

He said: “On September 24, 2018, I posted the picture of my wife returning from her new school, St Andrew’s Secondary School, Ibagwa-Ani, Nsukka LGA, where she resumed academic pursuit after we had our last child. She resumed in JS3.”

“Encouraged by the overwhelming responses from the public, she braved all odds and burned the midnight oil until today, June 22, 2022 when she wrote her last paper, Government, in the West African Examination Council Senior Certificate Examination,” he added.
