Ghana: Those who blame Akufo-Addo for current difficulties are witches and uncivilized people, according to Okyenhene.
Ghanaians who insult President Akufo-Addo because of the current economic hardship, according to the paramount chief of Akyem Abuakawa Traditional Area, are uncivilized and witches.
He claimed that because the President cannot be blamed for the current economic turmoil, insulting him about it is inappropriate.
He claims that those who have launched attacks, insults, and booing campaigns against Mr Akufo-Addo are village children.
“We should stop, we should be appreciative, we should appreciate him for his efforts; we should protect him. As for the insults, it’s for children of illiterates; if you are trained properly, you won’t do that, unless you are a witch or wizard,” he stated.
On Sunday, Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin spoke at the inauguration of the Kyebi Archdeaconry at St. Martin Anglican Church.
He claimed that no well-educated person takes pride in insulting elders. “if you were raised in the church, you will not insult an elder.”
President Akufo-Addo urged Ghanaians to have faith in his ability to turn things around at the same event, which marked the end of his three-day tour of the Eastern Region.
He was confident that God would assist him in improving the country’s ailing economy.
“Let’s keep our faith in God and let’s trust God to use me to turn the fortunes of the nation around. Don’t lose faith in me; keep believing me, know that this too shall pass,” President Akufo-Addo said.
Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin questioned why some people failed to recognize the president for “his efforts” and contributions to the country’s development.
