I would respect Nigerians’ decision if they chose to vote for a goat, says Obi

Nigerians, according to Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi, are educated enough to cast their ballots for whoever they choose in the 2023 elections.

He said this in response to a query posed by co-host and writer David Hundeyin on Tuesday night during a Twitter Space session.

Hundeyin questioned whether Obi intended to file a lawsuit against Bola Tinubu, the APC’s presidential candidate, for alleged perjury and document fabrication in response to an exposé.

The former governor of Anambra stated that he would rather speak about important topics than other contenders.

He continued by saying that if Nigerians decide to elect a goat after learning enough negative information about particular candidates, he would not object to their choice.

Obi said; “I don’t like speaking about other candidates. I like to talk about the issues. If after reading these revelations coming out and you and decide to vote for a goat, that’s your business”.
