Jnr. Pope describes being robbed with his coworkers in Ubulu, Delta State, at gunpoint.

A well-known actor named Junior Pope Odonwodo was robbed at gunpoint in Delta State on January 29, 2023.

The incident devastated him and a few of his coworkers, and the actor shared his story on Instagram.

Junior Pope told how the sad situation happened yesterday night while he was driving home from work with his coworkers Georgina Ibeh and Shire twin.

The actor said that the theft took place in Ubulu Okiti, Delta State, and that several of his belongings were taken by the criminals. From his phones to his shoes and other footwear to his bag—which had his ID card, passport, and PVC—and many other belongings.

Despite the tragedy, Junior Pope had good reason to be grateful when he arrived home and discovered his family to be well.

The two sons’ father praised God for preserving his life.

“Hey Swagnation, how are you all doing?

Coming back from work I was robbed at gunpoint. I was riding in my car with my colleagues, Georgina Ibeh and Shire twin and we were robbed around Ubulu Okiti at gunpoint.

They stole everything, took everything, phones; ransacked the vehicle. Took footwear, production shoes, my bags with my passport in it and personal belongings. My PVC, my ID card and lots of things”, he said amidst tears.

Captioning the video, he wrote,

“Robbed at gunpoint yesterday night at Ubulu Okiti….29/01/23. Returning from a movie set.

Tears dropped the moment I got home by 1am and saw my family.

Thank God for saving our lives. May we not meet our end in our quest for our daily bread… Amen”.
