Kenya: Hussein Mohamed has been appointed as the new State House spokesperson by Ruto.
Hussein Mohamed, a seasoned media personality, has been appointed as the new State House Spokesperson by President William Ruto.
Hussein will succeed Kanze Dena, according to a statement issued by outgoing Chief of Staff Joseph Kinyua.
Hussein was previously the Head of Communications in President William Ruto’s team.
The former Citizen TV anchor will collaborate closely with David Mukonyi, who was named Head of the Presidential Communication Service.
Other new hires in President William Ruto’s administration include:
Felix Koskei – Chief of Staff and the Head of Public Service.
Josphat Nanok – Deputy Chief of Staff
Augustine Cheruiyot – Senior advisor and Head of Economic Transformation and Secretariat
Kamau Thugge – Senior Advisor and Head of Fiscal Affairs and Budget Policy
Mohammed Hassan – Member of the President’s Council of Economic Advisors.
Nancy Laibuni – Member of President’s Council of Economic Advisors
Katoo Ole – Statehouse Comptroller.
Hussein Mohammed – Statehouse Spokesperson
David Mugonyi – Head of Presidential Communication Service
David Ndii – Chairperson of the President’s Council of Economic Advisors
