Miguna has been overwhelmed by Kenyans’ generosity.
Lawyer and self-proclaimed General Miguna Miguna wrote a note of thanks to Kenyans for what he called a “heroic welcom.”
Miguna arrived in Kenya on Thursday, and Kenyans took advantage of the opportunity to welcome him back after four years in exile.
In his thanks tweet, he gave out his new Kenyan phone number, which Kenyans obediently seized and began to make him a close ‘friend.’
Yesterday’s visit to MY MOTHERLAND was HISTORIC. I had an AMAZING first day and night. THANK YOU to everyone in Kenya who welcomed me back home. 075-707-7930 is my new phone number. Please accept my apologies in advance if I do not respond to or answer everyone’s call/text. Viva!’
Miguna Miguna, a High Court counsel, warned against being added to WhatsApp groups without permission in a pretty amusing post.
‘Please do not add me to Whatsapp groups without first obtaining my consent.’ I sincerely thank everyone for their tremendous support. There is nothing better than coming home!’ Miguna stated this.
Miguna, famous for his brazen fights for electoral justice, returned to his “motherland” during Mashujaa day and was greeted warmly by Kenyans, including President William Ruto, who welcomed him to the State House.
