Nigerian Lady Bags Masters degree from a UK university, plans to pursue a PhD in the United States.
Mercy Ojetunde, a remarkable Nigerian lady, graduated with honors from the University of the West of Scotland in the United Kingdom with a Master’s degree program.
Mercy Ojetunde, who won the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship from the United Kingdom, revealed that she earned her Master’s degree in Biotechnology from the University of the West of Scotland with a 100% grade and scored 180 out of 180 available points.
The United Kingdom Commonwealth Shared Scholarship is a yearly award funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) that allows international students to enroll in any university in the United Kingdom for their Master’s degree at no cost.

“I am delighted to announce that I have completed my Masters’s degree in Biotechnology at the University of the West of Scotland, and the final grades have been released. By the grace of God, I finished with a Distinction with 180/180 points earned,” Mercy wrote on LinkedIn.
