Singer, Lojay thanks Davido for linking him up with Chris Brown
Lojay, a Nigerian Afropop singer, has thanked Afrobeats star Davido for introducing him to American music star Chris Brown.
He included Chris on the remix of his hit song, Monalisa, but they never met before or during the recording process.
During an episode of Trending on HipTV hosted by KimOprah, he said he sent the audio file to the ‘Go Crazy’ crooner and then sent it back after doing his verse.
Lojay stated that he did not meet Brown until Davido drove him up to his hotel the day before his performance at the Wireless Concert.
Prior to that day, he and the American artist were supposed to meet, but it was difficult to see him.
He also stated that finally meeting the Grammy winner up close and personal aided in the development of a stronger working relationship.
