2023: Peter Obi launches a contribution and campaign website.
On Friday, Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, opened his Official Campaign Website.
He made the announcement on his verified Twitter feed. Obi, who invited his followers to visit the Obi-Datti Campaign organization’s official campaign website, revealed that donations from willing donors could also be made using the platform.
He tweeted, “I invite every member of the OBIdient Family, and every supporter of our march to a new Nigeria to visit. You can use that medium to support and donate in cash & kind to the campaign. Later today, I’ll be speaking at Oxford University on “Trends and Prospects of Nigeria’s Economy: Broader Implications for Africa’s Development.”

The news comes two days after worried Nigerians voiced concern that Obi’s constant consulting in the diaspora was impeding his campaign.
Before the 2023 presidential election, the politician built the official website to promote his political campaign and raise donations.
The LP leadership stated that the inauguration of its presidential campaign council could not take place in the absence of the party’s flagbearer and Chairman, Julius Abure. Both Obi and Abure are currently attending political rallies and programs organized by Nigerians residing overseas.
Remember that yesterday’s meeting between Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi and Mayor of Dallas resulted in the Nigerian politician receiving honorary citizenship.
The meeting held on Tuesday, was also attended by a select group of Texas Judges.
Peter Obi, who tweeted images from the meeting where he was awarded honorary citizenship in Dallas, said:
“Today in Dallas Texas United States, I met with the Mayor of Dallas and his team. I had the privilege of being conferred with the honorary citizenship of Dallas. I also met with a select group of Texas Judges.”
