President Ruto attends Uganda’s 60th Independence celebrations.

President William Ruto is in Uganda celebrating the country’s 60th anniversary of independence. President Museveni met with Kenya’s Head of State ahead of the celebrations.

“This evening, I had a great chat with H.E. @WilliamsRuto in State House Entebbe about issues of mutual relevance to our country and people. Rais wa Jamhuri ya Kenya nami kumkaribisha.”

President Ruto’s delegation includes CS Nominee Alfred Mutua.

The festivities are taking place at the Kololo Ceremonial Grounds. The topic for this year is “A Declaration of African Interdependence and Our Shared Destiny.”

Congratulations to all Ugandans on the 60th anniversary of their independence.
