Adekunle Gold, a well-known singer, was given a personalized Manchester United jersey by Adidas.
The singer of “Something Different” uploaded a video to his Instagram Stories of him receiving the jersey with the phrase “Tio Tequila.”
He was happy to get the gift from Adidas, which arrived on Wednesday as his favorite team, Manchester United, defeated Tottenham 2-0 in the Premier League.
Adekunle Gold claimed to have ended the curse and to be pleased to wear the clothing as a supporter of the English soccer team.
The Award-winning musician thanked the Adidas staff and called the present “lovely.” He was spotted hugging and shaking hands with the salesperson for the clothing line as she handed him the jersey
