Yahoo Boys almost get in trouble for attempting to con an American cop’s wife.
A group of cyber fraudsters known as the Yahoo Boys narrowly avoided being investigated and apprehended by an American police officer whose wife they attempted to defraud.
The young men had been speaking with a white woman for some time, hoping to extort money from her, but they had no idea she was married to a cop.
During their first video call with Barbara, they realized her husband is a county Sheriff, and he almost caught them in their scheme.
Barbara requested one of the Yahoo Boys’ names in a viral video, and he said only if she told him her age. The woman stated that she was 17 years old.
Her husband returned from work and took over the phone from her when he noticed she was speaking with several men.
He began questioning the two of them, wanting to discover what they desired from his family.
The Yahoo Boy spoke confidently, claiming to be having a casual discussion with Barbara.
The back and forth interrogation continued until the cop asked for his name, but the boy identified himself as Zeus Hercules, which threw the man off balance and nearly caused him to burst out laughing.
The response caused the police officer to ease off on the questioning, but he opted to discontinue the call immediately.
