“Tag Omah Lay with your full chest”- Reactions as seemingly Sabinus claps back at singer Omah Lay following his ‘Support’ post
In a social media post, popular Nigerian comedian Sabinus, also known as Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, responds to singer Omah Lay‘s criticism of his fellow members of the entertainment industry.
Remember that on January 11, 2023, it was reported that Omah Lay, using his verified Twitter account, disparaged several Nigerian musicians, most notably Burnaboy, Davido, Wizkid, and Olamide.
Omah Lay, whose song “Soso” is currently at the top of the Apple Music chart, claimed that his coworkers have never given him support throughout his career. He tweeted:
“DEM NO DEY GREE SUPPORT ME BECAUSE THEM DEY FEAR HAHA! EVEN MY SO-CALLED BIGGEST INSPIRATIONS ALL OF THEM JOIN”.
Omah Lay’s tweet elicited a range of responses from online users, who have since begun to express their perspectives.
In reaction, Sabinus, who is also from Rivers State, Porth-Harcout with Omah Lay criticizes his colleagues harshly, saying that given his position and platform over the years, he should expect support from everyone if he doesn’t offer it to others.
