A man provides a great update. 6 months after rescuing a 2-year-old girl who had been abandoned by her mentally ill mother
Two months ago, a Nigerian man named Ben Kingsley Nwashara rescued a two-year-old child who had been abandoned by the highway.
Ben turned to social media six months ago to publish a video of a small girl he spotted by the road in Enugu state’s Agbani district in June of this year.
The baby had remained in the same position for more than 24 hours as she braved the terrible weather conditions until rescue arrived.
Ben Kingsley discovered that she had been abandoned there by her mentally challenged mother.
The mentally unstable woman, who usually stays at a market in Agbani, gave birth to the baby girl in the area and then abandoned her.
On November 27, the young man provided an update on the girl’s current condition, which was uplifting.
Ben shared before and after photos of him with the child six months later, and she now appears more robust, healthy, and youthful.
