A young Nigerian lady graduates as an economist with a 4.90 grade point average and wins the best student award.

Jennifer Agbo, a brilliant Nigerian lady, has emerged as the best-graduating student of her class after earning an outstanding 4.90 cumulative grade point average out of a possible 5.00 points.

Jennifer Agbo, who earned her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Nigeria in Nigeria, described her academic journey as difficult, with many obstacles to overcome.

Jennifer shared her experience as the best-graduating student of the University of Nigeria’s Economics Department and Faculty of Social Sciences on her LinkedIn page to inspire future scholars.

“CGPA 4.9/5.0. Best Graduating Student in the Department of Economics at the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN). Best Graduating Student of the Faculty of the Social Sciences, UNN,” she wrote.

She went on to say that she had firsthand experience with the difficulties of balancing work and studies, and that her main motivation was her parents’ financial burden.

“I have experienced firsthand the challenges of balancing work and studies. My biggest motivation was to alleviate my parents’ financial burden and ensure that my younger siblings would complete their education without constraints,” Jennifer wrote.

“Although I faced numerous obstacles, I persevered and emerged stronger. If I could weather the five most challenging years of my life, I am confident that I can overcome any adversity,” she added.
